are any of these decent wines?

OK, so my other hobby is photograpy. Since I am out of the country for two years, I am looking for gifts I can order over the internet and have shipped straight to people, but still with that personal touch. (bear with me, this really is wine-related!)

I happened upon one of the big sites that you upload digital photos to, one of their options is putting your pictures on wine. While I like the idea, anything I have ever had that was custom laballed was plonk. Also, the Muricata "champage" is clearly not, if it's from CA... But I know nothing about CA wines so here is the list for your review. Is there anything here worth putting my art on and sending to my wine knowedgable friends and family? TIA! :D

I'm unfamiliar with any of these brands except Ariel, whose products I sell mainly to people who want to offer a non-alcoholic drink so Uncle John and Aunt Jane, who are teetotalers, can unobtrusively join in a wedding toast. As for the rest, I think you can draw your own conclusion about the quality of a wine sold principally on the basis that it can be custom-labeled.

What Dave said.

And I had to laugh at "Vinalhaven", 'vinal' being so close to 'vinyl' which is a flavor in flawed wine.

Aside from Ariel, which is discussed above, as best as I can tell the rest of the Label Names are not real wineries. This is likely a business that puts purchased plonk into custom-labeled bottles. There is no assurance of quality.

Thanks - I guess I'll stick to mugs, coasters and mousepads...
