Dark ruby, with a fairly light nose of cherries and a hint of mint. On the first night, it had lovely medium bodied grenache flavours, but was very hot on the finish. The second night, thankfully, brings a much more balanced wine, with cherries, dark chocolate, blueberries, sage and a long, mouth-coating finish. No hotness at all. Outstanding QPR (on the second night) and a solid, well made, honest wine. I'll get more, and wait a couple of years or decant a while for the next bottle. (B+/A-)

Nice wine usually John. Have had a few previous vintages, all good. The Rose from here is pretty special too.
