And a wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I've been reading NealRosenthal's new book. And a very entertaining read it is...highly recommended. And the best part is he mentions RP name only once...in a very innocuous manner...unlike other/lesser/more self-indulgent/bitchey books of late. It describes the evolution of RosenthalImports in a very matter-of-fact way, all the trials & tribulations over the yrs, clearly not written as an ego-trip, but just sharing his experiences as he grew the business. Gives lots of interesting insights into the biz side of the operation. A highly-recommended read.
Inspired by his description of M.Ferret and her Pouilly-Fuisse, I grabbed a btl to try probably my first P-F in..probably...25 yrs. Not an appellation I normally shop. I was mightly impressed by this wine...much of that old WhiteBurg character that I used to know & love. Mighty fine drinking it is.
I presume the CuveeSpecial refers to an unfiltered btlg for RosenthalImports.
