WTN: Perrin Reserve Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2006

Perrin & Fils
A blend of Grenache Blanc (50 per cent), Bourboulenc (20), Marsanne (10), Roussanne (10) and Viognier.

Light yellow in the glass.

Light melon notes on the nose.

Tangy, slightly bitter, somewhat oily, quite peachy, very clean and refreshing, good acidity, peppery.

A bitter streak on the mouthwatering finish.

An okay wine, but I didn't care for the bitter bite.

Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian).
