WTN: 2006 Dönnhoff Norheimer Dellchen Riesling Auslese

Has the weight of a BA yet the elegance of spätlese with crunchy minerals, tropical fruit, honey, spice & an apple/malic finish that persists long after the wine (and the bottle) is gone. It's delicious now, but very primary, with a long, long life ahead of it, filled with the unfolding of layer of complexity and emergence of additional depth.

Another cooperative tasting note from Salil "Another freaking Donnhoff...I can't take this...ok I can" Benegal & David "There's more where that came from" Bueker
