A Grenache-Syrah blend.
Fairly dark red in the glass.
Smoky and charred notes on the nose.
Tangy, medium bodied, cherry, leather, earth, lightly floral-perfumed, with a moderate bitter streak.
With time, the leather, earth, bitter bite and almost stewed fruit reminded me of an Italian Valpolicella.
Charred and a little bitter on the finish.
