damned title block doesn't fit a basic German wine name...

2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese
Pull the cork and sweet Golden Delicious apples & tangerines waft out of the bottle. Apple, citrus and floral essences play over a bed of slate. It's finely balanced & promises long evolution, but despite my habit of aging my German wines, not much of this will live to see it to the toddler stage. Fabulous wine from Selbach-Oster, and yet another confirmation that they have arrived at the to echelon of Mosel estates.
