Estancia Chardonnay 2006 - Sweet nose. Bright citrussy fruit but a surprisingly soft wine. Well-judged use of oak that only shows up in the firm finish. Nice and easy for current drinking.

Dutschke St. Jakobi Shiraz 2006 - Very dark. Oaky, Coca-cola nose. Toffee and caramel. Sweet and creamy. Medium-bodied. There's some good acidity here but the long finish is very oaky. Surprisingly smooth and ready to drink. Too much oak for me, though.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
