Niagara Peninsula.
WARNING: It has been a long time since I have had a wine this bad.
Fairly dark yellow in the glass.
A dirty/chemical-tinged nose (which should have been my first clue).
Creamy, thick and fairly weighty, some nice green apple and pear, nice tangy acidity, light honey, with a strong dirty/chemical-like streak at the end.
With time, the wine also picked up an "attractive" dirty/rotten fruit aspect, and the other off-putting flavours intensified.
A dirty finish.
Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian).
