New Wine Shop in DC

by Jon Peterson » Fri Jan 02, 2009 3:40 pm

Last month, or maybe it was November, Zola Wine & Kitchen opened at 505 9th Street, NW, Wash DC. Zola, a first rate restaurant next to the Spy Museum, has always had wonderful food and wine and now you can by many of those wines, and many lables I've never seen before, at the wine shop around the corner. Further, there is a kitchen within the shop that can be reserved for cooking classes or parties for good sized groups. The manager, Ms. Benchimol is apparently working on her Master of Wine.

Thanks, Jon. I'll be sure to stop in next time I'm in that neighborhood.

Nice to see your post, Kyrstyn. One of these days, all the DC Metro Area WLDGers should get together and have a nice meal with several wines.

Let's set something up in April or May when the weather warms up. In the meantime there is the offline in Philly next month!

Thanks for the tip on the new shop.

Works for me, I'd love to see everyone again!
