Hey! Don't you have to die to be reincarnated? Let's not push this ...

I'd like "Parker's Evil Twin."

If I keep debating James on the climate change topic, I'll be there by Saturday evening.

"I'm not dead yet!" Let's get back to the Monty Python references.

This thread is nailed to its perch, as far as I'm concerned.

It's not dead, it's pining for the fjords. And I never wanted to be here: I want to be a lumberjack. (Though, I guess Bob should have said that....)

Baited and hooked in under five minutes! Thank you Otto. Monty Python is great. Did you get it in Finnish or English? What a weird way to learn a foreign language. Of course growing up in the early 70's it was a great way to be introduced to British humour. Between that and Dr. Who I got my fill of British television.

James, I hope you realise that mentioning foreign languages and MP in the same sentence reminds EVERYONE of the Hungarian scene: "would you fondle my nipples? Oh yes, two streets ahead, one to the left." (Or something along those lines.)

It's been so long. I forgot about the scarf. I haven't watched that show in years. First there was the girlfriend, then the wife, they both seemed to object to British Sci-Fi. As they happened to be the same person I was inclined to listen. I just never caught up with the good doctor. I saw a few episodes when I was "up with the babies" but not too often. Now it's not on anymore. Big sigh...

Maybe we need a Monty Python Forum? Or just a British humor forum. Or maybe we just need more parrots!

Yes it is. SciFi is showing new episodes with the 9th doctor. Not up to the early years, but worth watching from time to time.

I thought the Doctor was limited to seven reincarnations? What was the deal? How did they get around that? Or did I have the wrong number? He is a Time Lord after all.

It's 12 reincarnations, or 13 lives. Starting this season will be the 10th Doctor (or the 9th regeneration from Hartnell). Although it's not entirely clear if Hartnell was the "first" doctor or if he was a reincarnate.
