WTN: Castillo De Molina Reserva Chardonnay/Viognier 2005

by Bruce Hayes » Sat Jan 10, 2009 2:47 pm

Viña San Pedro
Casablanca Valley

Light yellow in the glass.

Oak on the nose.

Rich and full in the mouth, oily, obvious oak, light peach, pear, lemon and lime, medium weight, slightly bitter, lightly floral.

With time, the oak influence grew and the wine became unbalanced.

An oaky, peppery-tangy finish.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
