2002 Siduri Rosella's Vyd Pinot Noir: Medium-dark red. Ripe, bright strawberry and cherry on the nose with a bit of alcoholic heat. Medium body, ripe fruit on palate, good balance but alcohol pokes through a bit. Medium finish smooths out some, very good, drink up.
Thanks for the note. Don't have the Rosella's, but it's probably time to put the Cargasacchi in the queue. I did just pick up some Loring Rosella's, though not from this vintage. Am eager to compare them to the August West, which at least in 03 was one of my favorite California pinots of all time.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
