This was not really what I "expected."
The nose is sour cherry/strawberry and white pepper. Tons of white pepper. Palate is similar, with a quite light mouth feel and a great deal of tartness. Alcohol is low.
To be honest, this is not a sip in the wine bar kind of wine-I think Beau was correct that it needed a nice hunk of salmon. Still, I do like the pepperyness-and this is utterly bone dry as well. One complaint-the finish falls off very quickly and I caught an odd off note way at the end. Not brett, but some little beastie is hanging out in their cellars.
