Méthode Traditionnelle
Costers del Segre
The bottle doesn't indicate the blend but a search on the Internet suggests it is Chardonnay (50 per cent), Macabeo and Xarel-lo.
Good forthy mousse when poured.
Medium gold color.
Few streams of fine bubbles in the glass.
Medium weight, green apple, lemon and a hint of orange, good acidity, honeyed, fairly rich, clean and refreshing, with a mild bitter streak.
Green apples on the drying finish.
A delicious wine.
Purchased at $14.95 (Canadian) and very good QPR.
