LOIRE VALLEY

Labeled Vin de Pays de France

Opened for Beau's Blues Monday...appropriate because the label shows a jazz band in a nice artsy style.

This wine reminds me of the brief discussion involving Otto and Rahsaan I believe, about a certain "taste profile" for les vins naturels.

Dark ruby in color with a strong nose of cranberry and white pepper. The palette follows through-cranberry, herbs, white pepper, a hint of earth. Very light and quite high in acidity.

This wine blossomed with food-of all things, fried chicken (it was Blues Monday). At $15 or so, how can you go wrong?
