WTN: Jolly Roll

by David M. Bueker » Sun Mar 22, 2009 3:01 pm

Opened up a bottle of 2006 Edmunds St. John Bone Jolly Gamay Rosé to match up with the first crocuses of the New England spring time. It's still so juicy and fruity that I am nearly stunned. It's mellowed maybe a tad since release, but is still fun and fresh, everything that spring time is supposed to be (with some chalky rocks thrown in).

You eat crocus in NE? I new people up there were different... What is your recipe?
The wine sounds delicious. I am hoping Steve will come to MoCool later this summer and bring some samples with him. That is likely the only way I will get to try this much renowned nectar of the gods. :(
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
