From 375 ml bottle.

You would think this would be ready coming from a half and all, but no. It took over an hour and a half to really start to be pleasurable. There's plenty of fruit and lots of tannin, but you don't get a hint of that Burgundian "sous bois" for a long time. Leave this undisturbed unless you can open it well in advance, preferably decanting. It's very good wine, just not ready to drink.
