Cinnamon, nutmeg, smoke, black fruit and red licorice on the nose.
Medium weight, rich, fleshy black cherry and blackberries, spicy, tangy acidity, tarry, with a light bitter streak toward the end.
With time, the wine became a bit tangier and took on more of an edge.
Tangy finish.
Purchased at $12.95 (Canadian) and a good deal at the price.
