The renowned Pauillac estate in Bordeaux will develop 62 acres of vines in the peninsula of Penglai in Shandong province, already referred to as "China's Bordeaux".
The Penglai peninsula, about 500 miles north of Shanghai, has multiplied production in recent years with foreign groups scrambling to secure a foothold in the region.
