I muled a couple of these over from the US to Japan on my last trip thinking they must be getting long in the tooth. Have loved them both - especially for the money.
A purple tint softened by shades of ruby, it has a fairly mild nose. It has a big tart plum taste and a nice balanced of acidity and subtle but not meek tannins. This could be quite a good summer quaffer chilled down a touch or two.
