WTN: Sundial on my shoulders makes me happy

by David M. Bueker » Sun Apr 19, 2009 5:45 pm

2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett
Something about Mosel Riesling on a bright, sunny spring day just makes the whole red state/blue state, economic bailout, Roe v Wade, GMO, nuclear proliferation, war on terror, famine, drought, wildfire, remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still world seem right.

A glass of fresh, fruity, slatey and utterly refreshing Riesling reflects the light in a way that makes its own sunshine to point to the time on that ancient sundial in the vineyard. There is no better drink for a crisp spring day. I wish all of my friends on the WLDG a little slice of spring happiness.

Geez, from the title, I thought it was a Fetzer review. :D
I don't know just how I'm supposed to play this scene, but I ain't afraid to learn...

Thank you, we had a lovely autumn day today down here, so I want to reciprocate and wish all my friends on WLDG a generous slice of fall pleasure!

Now that would not have been much of a pun would it?

Reciprocated. And I did my part today by popping open the title wine to spring: the Fruhlingsplatzchen of Schonleber

Awesome - what a way to welcome in spring. Now I'm tempted to follow your lead and pop one of the Kabinetts I've got sitting around here (no sundials here, but I do have some Treppchen... :))
