I am sure that this action against RP is like the case against the doughnut thief - full of holes.
I suspect that it may have been brought as a ploy in the prosecution against the lady in question for malfeasance, but I can't see it doing her much good there.
Given RPs reputation and the necessity that he carry on business by going to France periodically, I am sure the cost of a plane ticket won't stand in the way of him taking it seriously and defending it energetically. He was, after all, a lawyer himself, albeit a commercial lawyer.
