WTN: 2005 NxNW Cabernet Sauvignon

Columbia Valley. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot.
My favorite wine shop offered a ridiculous sale on this and other very nice wines so my duty, if I accept it (which I did) was to forge ahead and buy much wine (which I also did).
A very well made rich cab showing red and dark fruit, cherry and plum flavors with hints of pepper and chocolate on the very long finish. Very silky and oily in the mouth. The wine is a project of King Estate using aquired fruit from the Columbia Valley area. 14.1% Alc/vol. Paid $12.50 a bottle and bought a lot, as well as many others.

Nice score! A not-everyday wine at an everyday price.

Wow, that's some crazy pricing. I'd have picked up some of those Craggy Ranges.
