WTN: 2006 Jean-Luc Dubois Chorey-les-Beaune "Clos Margot": Interesting stuff. It's completely fruit-forward, in the sense that this is a perfect expression of the red cherry-guise of burgundy, with some nice floral stuff going on too. Very high-toned, and not a whit of oak. But it's tart and mouth-watering and light-bodied. Poured this at a dinner with a bunch of folks, and those used to New World pinot found the forward fruitiness really appealing. Me and the other burgheads liked the acidity and the purity.

A bit simple, but only $26, which is generic Bourgogne price nowadays. Good QPR.

Dunno. Here in NY state, Dubois is brought in by Skurnik. This wasn't the fancy cuvee from Dubois, just the ordinary Chorey.

Sounds good.

Although I think NBI prides themselves on the fact that fancy and ordinary can go together
