13% alcohol
Lots of grapefruit and gooseberry fragrance emanates from the glass. Flavors include lime and grapefruit. Nice as an aperitif or with traditional Sauvignon Blanc pairings. Holding up well for a 2005 Kiwi. Matched very nicely with some mini quiches (Florentine and Lorraine) left over from a church meeting. I thought the spinach in the Florentine mini quiche would pair well with a N.Z. S.B. and it did. I also sipped some during a salad course of tossed salad with dried apricot vinegar dressing.

I had fried oysters with sauteed spinach the other night, nice.
Oh, never seen Bedford Rd up here, yours sounds appealing.

Bedford Road may be an export only S.B. but it's been one of my favorites for several vintages. Usually like Kim Crawford also and Nobilo Icon.
