Wandering around, came across this piece. Nice pics too from Jamie Goode.

Thanks Bob. Always enjoy Jamie's writing. I see he's already got a writeup for the Donnhoff 08s as well - http://www.wineanorak.com/germany/germa ... nnhoff.htm - more praise for Kupfergrube; my poor poor wallet...

There is a lot to be said for following some of the blogs on the `net. Sure it is only one writers synopsis but an article (Is that the right word?) such as this is full of relevant information. Plus the pics look great!

At the end of it I view all of them as writers with specific palates, regardless of whom they write for. There are some like Jay Miller from TWA or James Halliday whom I have very little palate correlation with - there are others like Jamie Goode and Stephen Bitterolf who blogs on the Crush website whose views I generally tend to agree with, so I give those far more weight than some of the bigger name professional critics. And I really find Jamie's site useful, particularly when Aussie wines are concerned.
