WTN: Sibling Rivalry White 2008

by Bruce Hayes » Mon Jul 06, 2009 11:05 am

Niagara Peninsula
Henry of Pelham Winery

A blend of Chardonnay, Riesling and Gewurtramier.

Very light yellow in the glass.

Rich orange and litchi on the nose.

Rich, rather thick, lovely marmalde fruit (lemon, orange, grapefruit), spicy, fleshy, floral, mild bitter citrus rind bite, good acidity, a little sweet, clean and quite gulpable. A real summer wine.

Citrus and lightly drying on the mouthwatering finish.

Screwcap closure
Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).
