Found this at a local wine merchant for half-price (10 € from 21.95€).
She told me, the wine were special and not everybody's darling.
It seems to be difficult to find tasting notes for ripe white
crozes-hermitage and I would like to share our experience with others.
Domaine du Colombier Crozes Hermitage, Cuvee Gaby blanc 2003
100% Marsanne, 14% Alcohol.
Nose: Slightly fading white camellia
Palate: Toast, nectar, fresh tobacco, creamy texture, no fruit, pleasingly long finish.
We liked it in particular as excellent match for a tilapia Grenoble style (with lemon and capers)
and Puy lentils
