WTN: Grand Puy Lacoste, Tedeschi.

I was very fortunate to taste the `03 Grand Puy Lacoste (Pauillac) today. One of the owners at DeVines downtown pulled a bottle from his cellar for us all to try. Ripe fruit on the nose, brief oak hints. On the palate blackfruits, very soft tannins, elegant, harmonious. Nice length and a real treat.
There were some interesting samples on the tasting bar. I was able to taste a divine Soave from Tedeschi, as well as a Ripasso Valpolicella. Some Burge reds from Oz were all over the place.
Whilst all this was going on, I had a long chat with 2 young ladies who had just returned from a 2 month Argentina trip. Told them to post their impressions here!
