First Fall Wednesday Chat

by James Roscoe » Wed Sep 23, 2009 10:57 am

Fall has arrived. It is time for some more serious wine discussion. Wednesday Chat is here. We start the party at 9:30 PM EDT for those of us on the east coast, 8:30 PM CDT and 7:30 PM RMDT for those of you in Chicago or in fly over country. I guess that means 6:30 PM on the left coast. If my calculations are correct everyone in NZ needs to join us at 1:30 PM Thursday and at 11:30 AM on Thursday morning for those in Sydney and eastern Oz. I believe there is a time change coming up down under this weekend. I hope someone helps me with it.

In any event, join the fun HERE!

Let me add that Bob Henrick will probably be in at 9:00 PM EDT. If he doesn't respond, just wait a while. He is just having a senior moment or is on another screen.
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

It is 905 James, and I am here. I will stay around for a few, but Don't know for how long. Up early you know.

James, New Zealand changes to daylight savings (ie summer time) this weekend, so we spring forward an hour and will be GMT + 13 from Sunday chat onwards. Hope that helps.
Cheers,

Robert, I am sorry I missed you. I usually peek in at 9pm Eastern, and get my ablutions (non-religious) done and check back. Last night, I did all that, except checking back. :-(

The Israel clock changes officially on Sunday at 02:00 when the clock gets pushed back by one hour.

I have always wanted them to tell me that the clock would change by, let's say 1 hour, 3 minutes and 8 seconds. Much more interesting.

Does Oz switch to?

Eastern states (NSW, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania but not Queensland) start first weekend of October and end first weekend of April.

NZ Daylight saving starts last weekend of September and ends first weekend of April - so the time will change again for 4th April Sunday Chat in 2010.

I have visions of you pushing your clock! The clock doesn't like being pushed.
