Niagara Peninsula

Dark red in the glass.

Spicy, tangy, rich cherry fruit, red licorice and menthol on the nose.

Smoky, spicy, tangy, roasted, black cherry, raspberry, red currants, cranberry, tarry, medium weight, cinnamon, juicy, floral, red licorice. Intense flavours on a rather lean frame.

The wine became a bit tangier with time.

Spicy, raspberry, smoky, tangy cherry on a very long finish.

A very impressive and delicious wine.

Purchased at $24.95 (Canadian).
