Central Coast.
QPR California Cab here. Black currant, black fruit, black raspberry with hints of clove and mocha. Deeply flavored, balanced and a good food wine. $22. No heat detected from the 14.8% Alc/vol.

Haven't seen a bottle of Smith and Hook in ages, never was any better than mediocre as I remembner.
