How much decant time for this Leoville Poyferre?

I plan on opening a 2000 Leoville Poyferre tomorrow with london broil for a special occasion. How much decant time do you think would be optimal? Thanks in advance.

I'm not a big fan of decanting. Yet the Leoville Poyferre might be an exception, even for me.
What I'd like to do would be to open the wine several hours before dinner and have a taste or two as dinnertime approaches. Assuming the bottle still has wine in it, it should be just fine and you will have been able to reassure yourself.
If you want to decant, I'd guess an hour or so should be plenty of time. Again, I'd want to taste to see how it gets along.
After all, what's wine for?

Since it is my only bottle and being paired with kabobs with spicey peanut sauce, I'll defer to the latter posts and open a younger wine, probably an Anderson's Conn Valley 2005 Cab. Thanks for the advice!
