2006 Domaine Deletang Montlouis-sur-Loire Sec Les Batisses - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Montlouis-sur-Loire (5/13/2010)
What a pretty wine. Nice clean sharp acid balances the broad, yeasty, floral elements. Delicate feel, smooth, bright. Long sharp steely finish. World class wine at a great price.

Thanks for including the words Deletang and world class in the same note. I will have to return and give these guys a try again. Haven't tasted in years and they are reliably cheaper than some other 'blue-chip' Loire wines.

thanks, I don't see Deletang much. I used to prefer Chidaine by a hair, but Chidaine has gotten significantly more expensive (of course cheap by any non Loire standard). I should look for Deletang, too

I picked up a lot of Deletang from Macarthur last weekend when I was down in DC. I don't think anyone else in the eastern US carries it.
