Chrystal gold, slight So2 that blows off quickly, little spritz, fresh cut white flowers, delicate fruit with good body.....yummm, a great summer wine!!!

Hmm...missed this. Meulenhof is doing well lately. If you liked this then try their 2009s when they hit the market. Meulenhof hit a home run.

Michael, we're in the same part of the world...what did this one set you back?

Jenise,

Hi there, I paid $19.95! (I thought a very good price). I bought the wine at Sundance Wine Cellars in Eugene. I know they have Meulenhof wines on there online store,
http://www.orwines.com. It is a Ewald Mosler Selection (he is out of Portland). Let me know if you have a chance to give it a taste.....

David,

I have had both the Wehlener Sonnenhur and Erdener Treppchen bottlings over the last couple of years, (only Kabinett) and have found them always in my price range for the great quality! Last year we tasted 05 Kabinett WS from JJ Prum, SA Prum, Weins Prum & Muelenhof, though the JJ Prum stood out, the Muelenhof was a very close second!

Cheers
Michael
