Tried this last night w/ my steak:
1. MuscardiniCllrs Barbera PauliRanch/UkiahVlly/MendoCnty (14.2%; 304 cs; www.MuscardiniCellars.com) 2007: Very dark color; quite spicy/Italian sausage/fennel/Barbera slight bing cherry/tomatoey some vanilla/Am.oak quite attractive/spicy nose; slightly tart rather smooth/round/lush very spicy/fennel/Italian sausage/Barbera some vanilla/Am.oak slight tanic flavor; long very spicy/Italian sausage/Barbbera light bing cherry/tart/tannic finish; very classic Barbera spiciness but a round/smooth character on the palate you seldom get in Piedmonte Barbera; lovely/drinkable Barbera and should go another 2-3 yrs.
