The decade has been exceptionally kind to the Growers Reserve Zin from Mauritson. Opened it last night to accompany some Pollo Asada. The fruit (Dry Creek raspberries, cherries, smoke and earth) is bright and vibrant and the wine is zippy with a hint of oxidation (in a nice way). This wine is singing..
