Next Question - Recharging Cooling Unit

Has anyone tried to recharge their cooling unit?

I found the following but I'm not sure I'm comfortable trying this.

I saw this web page a while ago as my Koolspace unit is fading faster than a 10yr old Beaujolais Nouveau and wondered if there was soemthign that could be done short of buying a new unit. I haven't had the time to take it to an A/C shop but there no down side to try it if your unit is performing as badly as mine. It isn't going to get better on its own!
