Question about William Fevre?

How do I tell the negoce bottlings from the domaine's?

If I am not mistaken, the labels of the Domaine wines all carry the entitlement "Domaine William Fevre" while the negociant labels are simply "William Fevre". For example, the Grand Gru Blanchot and Gerenouilles are negotiant wines.

Yes, while some domaine/negoce combos are hard to navigate, Fevre is quite easy to spot on label.
I think the Grenouilles is only remaining negotiant GC, the Blanchots is no more at chez Fevre.

Are the négiciant bottlings of grands crus any less good?

I bought a bottle of 2005 Bougros last week after having tasted it.
Should be very nice inded in 4-5 years.

Their negoce Grand Crus are good, though not quite as exalted as the domaine wines.

Beware cellaring your 2005. Premox has not yet been solved. Seriously.

I worked for négociants for years and thus am a lot less prejudiced.
I was simply asking if anyone had any real experience.

As for premox, I think I'll risk it.

I have experience with Fevre's negoce Bougros and Grenoilles, and have never liked them as much as the domaine bottlings from otehr sites (though there is an apples and oranges issue there), even when I didn't know the difference.

I'm not sure I appreciate the characterization though. FYI, my favorite (still existing) Burgundy producer is Jadot, so I am not anti-negotiant.
