WTN: Whitehall Lane 2005 Res. Napa Cab.

This is not a producer I see mentioned much on this BB but I gave this one a try since it was greatly discounted to $40. Very deep purple in color, the flavors and nose were very deep cassis. Tannins were balanced with great fruit but this wine is still very young. Enjoyable now with some air, there is lots of aging potential although aging under a Vino-Seal may be very slow. I'll but a bit more if it is still available.

Wow - that is a pretty good price! Haven't had anything of theirs in quite some time as their prices went well above my comfort zone but I used to enjoy their wine quite a bit.
