Juicy fruit on the nose.
Hefty in the mouth, blueberry, blackberry, currants, tangy acidity, spicy, intense fruit, a light bitter streak, rich, juicy, black licorice, smoky, tobacco.
Mouthwatering and a little firm on the finish.
Initailly, the wine was a little flabby and alcoholic, but 30 minutes of cooling helped a great deal.
