I tried this at a wine tasting complex where several producers had tasting rooms. It would be a possible candidate for Thanksgiving dinner, but we opened it at a church fundraiser and I finished the bottle at home over a couple evenings.
14.5% alcohol. Very dark color; opaque. Forms legs on the glass. Balanced, very drinkable zin that was popular at the tasting with some who prefer a little sweetness in the wines. It was a little drying if held in the mouth but initial impression is fruity and soft. Dashe also makes some single-vineyard zins but I have not experienced those.
Nice under 15% alcohol zinfandel for those who like a fruitier style.
