The full name did not fit in the subject line, so I left the "Haardt" out of there. Anyway, I went to Marty’s last weekend, and was surprised that they had this in stock – imported by renowned Pinot Blanc aficionado Terry Theise, nonetheless.
Floral/mineral/lightly herbal nose. Full-bodied, bone dry, nicely balanced, with crisp, cool minerality, and a rather chalky texture. Features notes of white/yellow fruits, strawberries, basil, and nutmeg. Very good; certainly on par with the Heidi Schröck Weißburgunders that I have enjoyed in the past.
