Well, I may have overstated the title but this wine from Mauro Veglio Langhe Nebbiolo "Angelo" 2008 did come from a decent Barolo producer using the Barolo varietal and I assume from a unclassified vineyard near Barolo. The wine in question is purple, bricking at the edge and great on the nose ( after 45 min.) of wild cherry and a dusty note. The balance of acid/tannin/fruit was perfect. For about $20 I will be buying more. I much prefered this to a Veglio 2004 Barolo
Arborina(sp.) I consumed last winter.
