100% Riesling from the Koberner Schlossberg Vineyard just south of Koblenz on the Mosel. A great colaboration of pure riesling fruit and Champagne leesiness. Pear skin and apple intermingle with gunflint and sourdough bread. Nice concentration of bubbles, if not as precise as Champagne. Lots of spunk and character, not to mention delicious AND available stateside.
Prost!
