- 1998 Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon - Australia, South Australia, Limestone Coast, Coonawarra (10/21/2006)
Decanted 1 hour. Deep purple.Lovely bouquet of cassis, black fruit and cedar oak.Attractive ,seductive mouthfeel,of cassis, blackcurrents and vanilla with savoury undertones. This is medium bodied, well balanced.with good length.Perhaps needs another few years but is an absolute bargain at the price I paid at auction of £6. I would happily buy this wine for £20 plus. Outstanding 13.5% abv. (90 pts.)

You did a service! I own this wine but only one bottle, so I didn't want to screw up and drink it too early or too late. This helps, thanks.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
