Apparently this is a spreading problem. Grapes were reported stolen in WA last year and this year, one of our local wineries had a large amount of their Syrah stolen. They may be the only ones growing it in the area.

Yikes. I'd think it'd be too hard to steal that much weight but I guess not.

Best I've ever managed was a very small bunch at both Petrus and Romanee Conti just to taste them.
They wouldn't do this to a marijuana field lest they get planted in it (forever). Maybe the grape growers will have to start posting hungry Dobermans (Dobermen?) in the vineyards.
