1999 Bosquet des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (11/30/2011)Not getting it with this bottle - it's soft and really devoid of any aromatic or palate character. It just lays flat until the acid kicks in on the back end, but by then there's no flavor at all left to support it. Not fun at all.
