WTN: Champagne & Burgundy

N.V. André Clouet Champagne Brut Rosé
Continues to impress with deep fruit and a silken texture. Good red fruit and a hint of toastiness makes this a very refreshing, if not the most complex Champagne. Good stuff. Seems like it will hold up for quite a while.

2002 Domaine des Héritiers (Louis Jadot) Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes
Dark fruit, freshly turned earth and a bare hint of leather around the edges that hints at emerging maturity. Still needs some time to develop more, but drinking fairly well right now.

Do you have any experience with the Clouet Grand Cru NV? I see that that's for sale up here.

I generally like Clouet across their range. The NV Brut is quite good, though it does not stand out among other small producer NVs.
